Cookies and storage

Everything this product writes to your device — and why.

Version 2026-09-29. This is the first edition — when a next one arrives, the previous stays available.

Analytics

Analytics sets no cookie and stores no device identifier. Every visit is counted anonymously — a page view, how long, a form sent, a contact pressed — under a daily peppered hash computed on our own server. How the pages are used (clicks, scrolling, errors) is recorded only if you press Allow in the analytics choice, and you can change that at any moment.
You can change your choice at any moment, including withdrawing a consent you already gave: .
If you want analytics off on this device entirely and no further asking, open /#bc-ignore — it writes the bc_ignore flag, and our counter honours it.
There are no third-party cookies. Fonts are served by fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com — they set none, but they do see your IP address.

Analytics — counted anonymously, in detail only if you allow

These keys hold your answer to the analytics question. The analytics itself writes no device identifier.

bc_ck The flag that says you answered the analytics question. until you clear the browser localStorage
bc_consent Your permission to see how the pages are used. Absent means anonymous counting only. until you withdraw it localStorage
bc_ignore Turns analytics off on this device entirely — counting too. until you clear the browser localStorage

This list is generated from one data list that we check against the code that writes these keys. Two of them are real cookies: your sign-in (HttpOnly — the page scripts cannot read it) and your language. The rest is browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which never travels with a request. A key with * is a family: after it comes the company, app or object it belongs to.

How to clear it

In your browser settings, by clearing this site’s data — that removes everything in the table, including your analytics choice.
To change or withdraw only the analytics choice, use “Analytics choice” in the footer — it is on every public page.
